Who did it and why

Well, I did it.

What?

I think you know... cause you're looking at it. I've decided to start a blog. And so it goes, and so here we are...

I've wrestled with what this would/could/should/might be, and I've decided not to limit the possibilities, so bare with me.

This will be a weaving of many things, but since I get paid to do one thing, that will be the primary focus: Adobe Flex, ActionScript, and Java (and lots of other things, but let's start there). But my interests are wide and you'll probably find other things popping up on here. So be it. Take it as it comes, or not. It's up to you.

For those of you coming here for Flex, you may be wondering about my credentials. Why should I pay attention to this other voice in the sea of Flex blogs? Well, I have been programming in Flex for well over 4 years now (since Flex 1.5, for those of you who may have shared my pain). I've kept relatively silent in the community during that time, except for brief outbursts (really more like whimpers) on flexcoders, but now I feel like I have a lot built up in my head that I'd like to document and share. So that is primarily where I'm coming from. Only my posts and you can decide if it's worth it or not.
